Dana is Cheryl's and Andy's sister and Jim's sister in law.
She is known to embarrass herself in front of others. During one Halloween, she dressed as Catwoman but didn't realize she walked out of the house with toilet paper stuck to one of her leather boots. She also farted in front of the family while pregnant. After giving birth to her child, she prematurely tried to fit back into her skinny jeans again, but didn't realize they ripped in the back, meaning her bright purple underwear was clearly visible. She went to the mall and even passed a group of construction workers on her way home before Cheryl told her what she was accidentally showing. Dana blushed and ran upstairs to change into sweatpants.
